Installation Process

1. Download the SizeScribe add-on script.

2. In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.

3. Click on "Install" and navigate to the downloaded script.

4. After installation, ensure the add-on is enabled by checking the box next to its name.


Usage Guidelines

Access the SizeScribe panel located in the 3D View's sidebar (Shortcut N).

1. Select the desired unit system for export: Metric or Imperial.

2. Input a custom name for the export file, or leave it blank for a default name.

3. Click on "Export Data" to generate the CSV file with object details.

4. The exported file will be saved in the same directory as the Blender file.


System Requirements

- Blender version 4.02 or newer to ensure compatibility with the API and UI elements used in the add-on.


Limitations

- Requires the Blender file to be saved before exporting data to ensure file paths are correctly resolved.

- The export is capped at 1000 objects to prevent performance degradation, which may limit usage in very large scenes.

- Unit conversion is simplified, and detailed customization of units beyond the metric (millimetres) and imperial (Inches) is not supported.
